Notes
Chicken: You’ll need cooked chicken for this recipe, so please plan accordingly. You can use a rotisserie chicken from the store or some slow cooker or Instant Pot shredded chicken.BBQ sauce: Feel free to choose your favorite brand of BBQ sauce or make your own.Cheese: I did large slices of cheese on top of the chicken to melt down over everything. However, you could use 2 cups of shredded cheese.Add-ins: Sliced red onions, chopped green onions, a pickle on each roll, cooked pieces of bacon. Or serve this with some coleslaw in the sliders or alongside.Leftovers: Leftover chicken sliders can be stored, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat in the microwave, but they will lose any of the crust they developed while baking and will be soft all the way through. (Not a bad thing!) Or reheat a few sliders in a toaster oven or regular oven. Just make sure to allow enough time for them to warm through all the way.
