Buttery Parmesan Peas
Buttery Parmesan peas is a simple side dish that’s quick and easy and has great flavor. Just 3 main ingredients and about 10 minutes to make!

Ingredients

tablespoons
unsalted butter

medium shallot
,
finely chopped
1
(10 oz) bag frozen peas
½
teaspoon
kosher salt
¼
teaspoon
black pepper
¼
cup
fresh grated Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped shallot and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until softened.
Add the peas, salt and black pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring regularly, until heated through.
Top with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately, with extra Parmesan if desired.
