Ranch seasoned pork chops

Ranch seasoned pork chops are a quick and easy weeknight dinner that’s full of flavor and just 3 ingredients!
Prep Time5 minutes
Cook Time15 minutes
Total Time20 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dry Ranch seasoning mix (homemade or from a packet)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 (5 oz.) boneless pork chops
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Optional: Squeeze of fresh lemon juice, sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley to serve

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Combine the Ranch seasoning mix and paprika in a small bowl and stir well.
  • Season both sides of pork chops generously with the seasoning mix.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add pork chops and sear until brown and crisp, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for an additional 8-12 minutes. The exact timing will depend on the thickness of your pork chops. They should reach a minimum of 145. (I use and love this digital thermometer.)
  • Remove and let pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

I use small boneless pork chops because they are quick and easy to cook. You could certainly substitute bone-in pork chops or even a pork tenderloin. You’ll just need to adjust the cooking time.
I like searing these in the pan first to get a slight crust and then transferring the pan to the oven to finish the cooking. If you want to cook these on a sheet pan for the entire cooking time, you’ll need to bake them at 400 for about 20-22 minutes, until they reach at least 145. (You can broil them at the end to get some extra color on them.)
Feel free to use either homemade Ranch seasoning or part of a packet of Ranch seasoning here.
I use regular paprika but smoked paprika would work too.
