These easy baked pesto chicken sliders are just 5 main ingredients but full of flavor! They are great for a party or game day appetizer!

Ingredients
For the sliders:
12Hawaiian rolls, or substitute whole wheat slider buns
1cuppacked fresh spinach leaves, roughly chopped
2cupsrotisserie chicken breast, shredded or chopped
½cupprepared pesto
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
For the topping:
1tablespoonunsalted butter, melted
½clovegarlic, minced
Pinchof salt and black pepper
2tablespoonsgrated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350.
Use a bread knife to cut the rolls in half horizontally and remove the top. Place the bottom of the rolls on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle a layer of the chopped fresh spinach over the rolls.
Mix the chopped chicken with the pesto in a bowl and then divide evenly over the rolls on top of the spinach.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pesto chicken and replace the tops of the rolls.
In a small bowl, mix the butter, garlic, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Bake at 350 on a middle rack for 15 minutes, until the rolls are warmed through and the tops are browned. Serve warm.

Notes
I use a rotisserie chicken to make this easy but you could also use some roasted or grilled chicken breasts.Feel free to use a homemade or store-bought pesto.I use 1 cup of mozzarella cheese to keep these on the lighter side but you could increase that to 1 ½ or 2 cups if you want these to be super cheesy.You can prep this ahead of time. Just wait until you’re ready to bake it before brushing on the butter-garlic topping.
