Baked honey garlic meatballs are infused with garlic, soy sauce and ginger and served with a delectable honey garlic sauce for drizzling on top.

Honey garlic is a long-time favorite flavor in my house. And yours too, it seems.
This 15 minute honey garlic chicken is one of my most popular recipes and a must try for a dinner that everyone will rave about! Or try this slow cooker honey garlic chicken for a hands off version.
There's also honey garlic pork chops and honey garlic shrimp and honey garlic salmon. Can't stop, won't stop!
Today, we're infusing those flavors into some turkey meatballs and serving them drizzled with some extra honey garlic sauce for maximum deliciousness.
These meatballs are tender on the inside and develop some yummy crisp spots around the edges as they bake.
They're a great protein and they can be prepped ahead and reheated. They freeze great, too. (Storage details are in the notes of recipe card below.)
So many reasons to love them!
So let's get cooking.

Recipe Notes:
Turkey: I use a lean ground turkey (like the 93% lean kind) but you could try these with ground beef or ground chicken if you like.
Soy sauce: I use low-sodium soy sauce so I can control the amount of sodium in this recipe. If you have regular, that's fine too but it may make the finished meatballs a little more on the salty side.
Red pepper flakes: These add a little extra kick to the recipe without making it spicy. However, you can sub out black pepper if you'd rather.
Texture: The meatballs will be a little wet when you mix them up. But they roll well into balls to place on your baking sheet and they cook up perfectly.
Sauce: There's enough sauce, as written in the recipe card below, to drizzle over the meatballs and also some for the rice and veggies you might be serving these with. Feel free to double the sauce if you really want a lot of extra.

And yes, we love making rice bowls for serving these. Steam some white or brown, or even basmati rice and add a few of these meatballs.
For a veggie, we love some bok choy or snow peas or green beans on the side. Just be sure to drizzle your honey garlic sauce over ALL of it!
I hope you give these honey garlic meatballs a try soon.

- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (or sub black pepper)
For the sauce:
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (or sub black pepper)
