These three easy Greek yogurt dips — two savory and one sweet — are great for a healthy snack or appetizer and take just minutes to mix together!
This post is sponsored by the American Dairy Association Mideast. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Y’all know I am a huge fan of Greek yogurt, right?
I’ve always got multiple versions on hand in the refrigerator - small containers in assorted flavors for breakfast and at least one huge container for cooking and as a topping for dishes.
I’ve made fruit mixes for yogurt for my kids since they were babies -- and we’re doing a version of that today.
We also make tons of yogurt parfaits for breakfast, use Greek yogurt in mango yogurt popsicles and even bake with it — see my strawberry yogurt cake and healthy blueberry cake.
We also use it as a substitute for sour cream when we’re topping tacos and fajitas, or for mixing it to chicken or tuna salad.
Today, it’s taking center stage in these easy Greek yogurt dips. We’ve got two savory and one sweet.
Here's what we're making:
- Pesto yogurt dip
- Creamy chili dip
- Fruity yogurt dip
Something for everyone!
These quick dips are just a few ingredients, take minutes to mix together, and are perfect for setting out on a snack board for a healthy appetizer. (Or really load up your snack board and call it dinner!)
You can’t beat an easy, creamy, flavorful dip that has everyone wanting to snack on some healthy foods.
I’m also so happy to be partnering again with the American Dairy Association Mideast to share some healthy recipes this year, especially ones like this that focus on plant-based pairings for dairy.
(See my smashed chickpea salad for an earlier post celebrating dairy + plants.)
You know I love to get in some extra fruits and veggies whenever I can!
And Greek yogurt is such a nutritional powerhouse. ❤️
Greek Yogurt Nutrition:
- Greek yogurt is high in protein, which helps us feel full longer, and it's got dairy's 9 essential nutrients: calcium, potassium, phosphorus, protein, vitamins A, D and B12, riboflavin and niacin.
- A serving of 6 oz of Greek yogurt can provide up to 17 grams of protein and 14% of your daily calcium needs, while only being about 100 calories.
- Greek yogurt is also packed with probiotics, which are healthy bacteria that can help boost your immune system and create a healthy microbiome, which impacts our digestive system and so much more.
Plus, it's got that great creaminess and tang.
AND, on top of that, it’s National Dairy Month right now for June.
It's a month dedicated to celebrating America's dairy farmers, who work hard to help provide wholesome, nutritious, affordable food to our families and communities.
These farmers work tirelessly day in and day out to care for their animals and produce healthy dairy foods. And they're working even harder right now in 2020 to keep our grocery stores stocked with fresh dairy foods.
OK, enough geeking out! Let’s get moving on the dips, so we can start enjoying them sooner.
Now, I’ve got some notes and tips coming up below on how to make these Greek yogurt dips. Just tryin’ to be helpful.

Ingredient Notes:
- Greek yogurt: You can use nonfat, 2% or 5% plain Greek yogurt; whatever you have on hand.
- Pesto: The pesto dip calls for pesto. I love using homemade basil pesto but you could substitute a store-bought variety as well.
- Berries: Use strawberries or a mixed berry combination for the fruit in the fruity yogurt dip. Or feel free to substitute mangoes or another favorite fruit to change up the flavor of the dip.
- Sweetness: You could substitute a vanilla Greek yogurt or add a touch of honey to the fruity yogurt dip if you want to sweeten it up a bit.
- Additions: You can also add extra pesto or fruit puree to your dips if you want to amp up those flavors even more.
- Spicy: Also, beware that the chili dip is spicy! You can omit the adobo chili and just use some of the sauce if you want to tame the heat.
Let’s also talk storage and leftovers if you have extras.
Tips on Leftovers:
- Leftovers of each of these dips may be stored, covered, in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- You can serve them again as a dip for an appetizer.
- You can also use the pesto dip and creamy chili dip to baste onto grilled chicken or meats. They’d be great with roasted shrimp too.
- Or use these as a spread for a wrap or sandwich.
- Or add a dollop of one of the savory dips as a creamy topping to a grain bowl.
So many ways to enjoy these!
Finally, you may also want to check out my creamy peanut butter yogurt dip. It’s another great sweet dip for after-school snacking with some fruit and graham crackers.
I can’t wait to hear which of these Greek yogurt dips you try and which ones your family likes best. Leave me a comment below or tag me on Instagram; I love seeing your creations.
Enjoy!

Pesto Presto
I just scrolled through a Stephen King novel for you to tell me to dump pesto into yogurt. Are you kidding me.
