This November meal plan has a full month of ideas for easy, homemade family-friendly dinners. Includes a free printable PDF calendar with each day’s menu idea for easy planning.

Earlier this year, I started a new feature here on Family Food on the Table with my January meal plan and February meal plan followed by March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October meal plan, each one giving you an entire month’s worth of recipe ideas for easy, healthy family dinners.

I myself love to menu plan and schedule out our meals.

It does not feel like a chore at all, and I really do enjoy it. I think it’s the type A scheduler in me coming out in full force.

If you’re interested, I’ve got a whole post of my official guide to meal planning, with all my tips and tricks.

And previously, I’ve shared a list of 30 easy healthy family dinner ideas that could work for any month of the year.

But today, I’m trying to make it easy on YOU by giving you another full month’s worth of ideas for healthy family dinner ideas.

This will carry you through the entire month of November.

I’ve included the photo of the meal plan here if you want to pin it, but there’s a free printable PDF link at the bottom as well, so you can easily save and print.

A November calendar with dinner ideas typed in for each day of the month.

So let’s dive right in.

November Meal Plan Notes:

  • Each day has its own recipe idea, complete with sides if needed to make a full meal. (Some things like tacos are more all-inclusive, though you could add sides if you like.)
  • You can make easy swaps to suit your family’s tastes. Use whatever vegetables are your favorite to steam, make mashed potatoes instead of baked potatoes, choose white or brown rice, etc. Customize to your heart’s content.
  • Saturdays are blank. This is intentional and meant to be reserved for either using up any leftovers from the week or ordering dinner in or going out to eat. Cause we all need a break!

Speaking of, you can totally use some cheater substitutions.

See how lasagna is on the menu?

You can make your own, but I’ve got that listed for the night before Thanksgiving. So I’m thinking you either prep it ahead and pull it out from the freezer or you make it easy on yourself. Buy the frozen kind at the grocery store and take the night off.

Same for mac and cheese. I love my stovetop mac and cheese and it’s ready in about 15 minutes. But I won’t tell if you make yours from a box or heat it up from a container. No judging here.

It’s all about what works for you.

Also, the calendar and meal plan are ideas for prompts to get you started.

If you also need specific recipes, I’ve got some included below. You can also grab recipes from your own collection, your favorite cookbooks, or from Pinterest or Google.

(Many of the recipes below are from my site, but I’ve also included recipes from others.)

Oh, and I included these ideas in order from November 1 on the calendar to November 30, with the date listed too, which will hopefully make things easier to find throughout the month.

Thank you so much for your meal plans. I am 83 and have been cooking for a family since I was 10. Today I have been thinking of what I can cook for dinner all day. I haven't been very hungry lately and can't think of what to fix for my family of three. I just looked at your menus and knew these would work for me. Thank you again.

This is a great resource, thank you! I do have 1 question though, is the printable pdf supposed to be blank? When I download it to print, its a blank November calendar.

Oh no, it shouldn't be blank. It should have the recipes listed for each day (like in the photo of the calendar in the post). I just checked and it's working on my end. Maybe try going directly to this link and seeing if that works better for you? Here it is: https://www.familyfoodonthetable.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/November-meal-plan-2024.pdf

Thank you so much for this! It's so helpful for me. I get bored and then end up over complicating. Or making thi gs no one wants to eat(including me) for the sake of something new. I love having the planning all done for me.

These calendars are so helpful!! Thank you for sharing!
I live alone and it can be so hard to come up with ideas that aren't takeout, frozen entree, or the same thing for the fourth day in a row. I pick out 3-4 meals for the week. One day is new and one day is leftovers. It works out so well!
I love Saturday as eat-to-clean-out-the fridge day as trash pick up is Monday. No science experiments.

Haha, no science experiments - love that! And I'm so happy to hear these are helpful and give you a good starting point for creating your meals for the week. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for the help. I recently had bariatric surgery and am looking to make healthier meals for me and my family. The lists and calendars are a great help in fixing for the whole family.
